Datasets of Global Urban and Rural Resident Land Cover Distribution between 2000-2010

Urban and Rural Resident Land Cover refers to the artificial land cover, including the land for human habitation, industry and mining, business and transportation, serving as the human living space, working space and engineering space. The urban and rural resident land change in both spatial and temporal is an important indicator in ecosystem and social economic assessment, especially in human activities, resources used, industrial and economic development, as well as environment.
Datasets of Global Urban and Rural Resident Land Cover Distribution between 2000-2010 come from the global land cover remote sensing imaging with 30m image resolution (GlobalLand 30) conducted in the years 2000 and 2010. The datasets development is based on Landsat-TM and ETM+ as well as CCD of China Satellites for Environment and Disaster Mitigation etc., and refers to the international data products available on global land cover.
