As part of GEOARC-2018, an overview of global agro-climate conditions based on agro-climate indicators (CWAIs), along with the agronomic indicators in global Monitor and Reporting Units (MRU), as well as the agronomic cropping patterns and stresses over major production areas were presented. A comprehensive analysis has been conducted in various aspects, including global and China food production in 2017 and outlook for 2018, global supply of major grain and oil crops and trade prospects (import/expert) of major crops by China, and the trend of production changes in China and major bulk grain and oil crop importing countries.
