What is GEOARC?

Focusing on global concerns of ecosystems and environment, National Remote Sensing Center of China initiated Global Ecosystem and Environment Observation Analysis Research Cooperation (GEOARC) since 2012 based on a series of products from National Science and Technology Programmes. For ten years, GEOARC has been continuously performing ecosystem and environment monitoring and analysis, producing easy-reading annual reports and user-oriented datasets. GEOARC devotes to support decision making, science research and capacity building on sustainable development, climate change, disaster risk reduction, urban resilience, etc., and to provide public goods for the international society. GEOARC also aims to promote the use of international standards and methods for knowledge sharing and extend the cooperation network with more countries and organizations.
